Patricia Ann Barnes

With family by her side, Patricia Ann (Patty) Barnes, 80, of Elmira, NY quietly passed away on April 9th, 2021. Patty was born on April 12th, 1940 to Edward and Myrna (Hatch) Oakley. She was a devoted wife to Neil Barnes for over 30 years and an amazing mother and mother-in-law to Michael (Mike) and Susan Barnes as well as Kelly Ryan-Revis and James Revis. Patty had grandchildren on earth, Bryan (Nicole) Barnes, Carrie (Michael) Townsend, and Blake Ryan and one in heaven.Marissa awaits in heaven to be reunited with her grandma whom she loved so much. Patty is also survived by her two step-grandchildren Renee (Christopher) Ulmer and James Michael (Jessie) Revis, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless loved ones and friends who have brought endless joy to her life. Predeceased by her husband Neil, Patty was quickly adopted by her loving brothers-in-laws and sisters in-laws, Clark (Bunky) and Betty Barnes, John and Ruth Barnes, Jack and Priscilla Barnes, and Doug and Evelyn Barnes, Ed and Anna Lee Owen, Dale and Cheryl Nietz, and Stuart (Stu) Barnes. Her family all loved Patty as she was an integral part of the amazing Barnes family. Patty had a deep, abiding faith in the Lord and was a faithful (original) member of Canton New Life Church, Canton, PA and later a long time member of Faith Tabernacle, Elmira Heights, NY. Patty recently attended Wellsburg Community Church. Patty loved her husband, her children, all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her adopted children, friends, and extended family.Her house was always a home to all.
