Norma J. Ruth

SOUTHPORT – Norma J. Ruth, 83, of Southport, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021.Born onSeptember 8, 1938, she was the daughter of the late William and Gladys (Bellinger) Seymour.On April 22, 1961, she married, Anthony F. Ruth Sr. For more than 20 years, she worked for Artistic Greetings in Elmira.After the company closed in 1998, she went on to babysit for many years. Norma enjoyed bingo, dancing, apple picking, camping and relaxing on her front porch.More than anything, she cherished the time she shared with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Anthony F. Ruth, Sr., and her sister Janet Walburn. She is survived by her children, AnthonyF. (Marie) Ruth, Jr. of Pine City, Barbara Jean (Tod) Martin of Liberty, NC, Christina (Michael) Wallace of Matthews, NC.; her grandchildren, Ryan, Dale, Shannon, Cassie, Jacob, Matthew, Ali, and Cory; and her siblings, Billy, Judy, Jimmy, Jackie, and Gary.
