Nancy J. Craig, Age 51, of Wellsburg, New York, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2024, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Nancy was born February 18, 1973, in Elmira, the daughter of the late Charlie Sullivan and Shirley (Miller) Sullivan who survives. Nancy graduated from Southside High School and married Martin Craig on February 1, 2005. Nancy was employed as Clerk of the Village of Wellsburg. She was the pulse of Wellsburg always involved with all the community events including the Wellsburg Fire Department where she was a support member. She was always about the village making everyone feel welcome with her friendly smile. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. In her spare time, Nancy could be found vacationing on Black Lake and fishing with Marty and Makena, she enjoyed attending and watching the Buffalo Sabers and Buffalo Bills and was an avid follower of the Oklahoma Women’s Softball Team and watching Little League Baseball.

In addition to her mother Shirley Sullivan of Wellsburg, Nancy is survived by her husband Martin “Marty” Craig, the light of her life, daughter, Makena Craig both of Wellsburg, a sister Karen Quinones of Elmira, brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Sharyn Miller of Wellsburg, special cousins, Susan Miller, Chris Prentice, her canine sidekick Riley, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Nancy was predeceased by her father Charlie Sullivan and nephew David Miller.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wellsburg Volunteer Fire Department, 147 Main Street, Wellsburg, New York.
