Mitchel R. Mcwhorter

PINE CITY - Mitchel Ray McWhorter of Pine City, died on February 22, 2021.Born on April 9, 1952 he was the son of Genevieve (Hewitt) McWhorter and Vernet (Mac) McWhorter who predeceased him in 2006. Mitch left behind many loved relatives including his son, Shawn (Wendy) McWhorter; his grandsons, Caleb Mitchell McWhorter, Lukas Ray McWhorter, Sheldon Guy McWhorter; his younger brother, Randall L. McWhorter; his nephew, Randall B. McWhorter; his niece, Miranda (Ryan) Rice; a great niece and several nephews. Mitch was a lifelong Pine City resident and a lifetime member of the Pine City Volunteer Fire Department. Mitch thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking, and just hanging out with family and friends. He was a member of P.C.B.C. Benevolent Association. Burial will take place at 1 pm on Friday, March 5, 2021 in Fitzsimmons Cemetery in Southport.In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to the Pine City Volunteer Fire Department, 1463 Penna.
