Mildred L. Turner

Mildred L. Turner Age 92 of Southport, NY, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at home. Mildred was born on November 3, 1928 in Tyrone, PA, the daughter of the late Almeda M. (Eighmey) and Gerald L. Leff. She was a member of the Southport Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was a retired employee of Panosians. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Jerrie (Floyd) Barrett of Lowman, NY; sister-in-law, Kathleen A. Leff of Millerton, PA; grandchildren, Jerrilyn Barrett and Kenneth Barrett; great-grandchildren, Steven (Victoria) Thomas and Sarah (Aaron) Clark; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, that she referred to as "her kids". She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, John Turner, Sr.; son, John Turner, Jr.; brother, William Leff; and her great-great-grandson, Sylas Clark. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM, at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
