Maciel, Michael WalterAge 79 passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 22, 2002. Surviving are: his wife, Gladys Maciel, Children; Michael (Marion) Maciel of Trumansburg, NY, Judy (Paul) Guerard of Andover, MA, Susan Maciel of Elmira, NY, Sandra Bryce of Corning, NY, David (Patricia) Maciel of Syracuse, NY and Steven (Geralyn) Maciel of Mystic, CT. Grandchildren; Jerome, Jean-Paul, and Lorraine Guerard, Mark Bryce, Jesse, Kristen , Lauren and Christina Maciel. Sisters; Agnes Wojcik, Theresa Korbel, Elizabeth Cole, Adeline Kordyl and Leona Fredrick and several nieces and nephews.Michael was a Veteran of World War II having served in the US Army. He was a member of the American Legion, the Soaring Polka Club and the Eagles Club.Family and friends are invited to call Sunday, February 24, 2002 from 2 to 4 PM at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira. With funeral and committal service there Monday at 1 PMthe Rev. Richard Hack officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira.
