Michael J. Hills

Michael J. Hills, Age 66, of Southport passed away peacefully on May 12, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Michael was preceded in death by his parents John & Patricia (Mathers) Hills, a sister Kelly Marshall, step-son, Matthew Marshall and several loving family members and friends.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Joyce R. (Marshall) Hills, loving son, Mike (Jessica) Hills, the joys of his life, grandsons, Lucas & Caleb Hills, loving nephew Cody (Alecia) Marshall, sister, Joanne (Bob) Marshall, Shelly (Tony) Frantilizzi, sisters-in-law, Lillian (Dave) Loomis, Becky (Bobby) Hitchcock, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of caring friends. Michael lived in Southport most of his life. He could make friends very easily. When you were his friend, it was forever. He was a kind and considerate man, most of all he loved his family and all the special memories.

Mike’s family would like to say thank you to Jenny and Care First along with Dr. Mauri and Stephanie Busch for taking such good care of Mike during his illness.

It was Michael’s wish that his death be private and the family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date.
