HARSH, Merle C. ?Skeeter?Age 77 Of Elmira, NY passed away January 2, 2002 at The Waters of Three Rivers in Painted Post, NY.Mr. Harsh was born in Midland Park, NJ, the son of the late Desmond and Gertrude Harsh of Waverly, NY. He is survived by his sons; Michael (Nancy) Harsh of Eagle River, AK,Donald (Patricia) Harsh of Elmira, NY,Daughter; Patricia (Michael) Degraw of Woodridge, VA,6 Grandchildren,2 great grandchildren, Sister; Elva (Ken ) Hawkins of Oxford, NY,and his Aunt Vivian Harsh of Chino Valley, AZ. He waspredeceased by his wife,Barbara in 1995 and his brother,Robert Harsh of NJ.?Skeeter?served in the United States Army Air Corp during WW II.He was a retiree from the trucking industry, an avid fly fisherman and angler. He had a great love for Arizona, where he and his wife spent their retirement years.Family and Friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmiraon Saturday January 5, 2002 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM with a Memorial Service there Saturday at 5:00PM.Rev. Howard Hunt will officiate.Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn National Cemetery. Those wishing may make memorial donations in Merle?s name to their charity ofchoice.
