May L. â??Mazie�? Belin

Age 85 of Elmira Hgts, NY Monday, May 27th, 2002 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Mazie was born September 19th, 1916 to John and Mae (Wich) Belin. She was predeceased by her brother John (Bud) Belin February 3, 1996. Mazie is survived by nieces Sally (David) MacNeal, Linda (William) Vallet, Melissa Belin, their children and nephew William Belin, all of Elmira. Cousins Jim and Barb (Tucker) Mosher, Gary and Kelli (Owen) Tucker, of Elmira, Dorothy (Wich) Kaufman of Ardsley, NY, their children and many other family and friends. Mazie was a 1937 graduate of the Elmira Southside High School, 50-year member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority of Elmira and a representative to the Tri County Council. From her confirmation at the German Evangelical Church to her present membership at the North Presbyterian Church, Mazie was involved in many programs for children and youth.She was also involved in the Girl Scouts of America, YWCA, Christian Business Women, AARP,and RSVP.
