Mary I. Curren

Age 94, went home to be with her Lord, peacefully, Monday, July 1, 2002 at the Bethany Manor in Horseheads, NY. She was born July 31, 1907 in Gillett, PA the daughter of the late Thomas and Lotti (Ayres) Curren. Mary is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Neva Curren of Alton, IL; along with 2 nieces and 3 nephews. She was an active member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, a member of the Garden Club and was a member of Southside High School?s first graduating class in 1925. She worked for Kresge?s and the Willis Morrow Company. Mary retired from Remington Rand in 1971 as insurance claims manager. At her request there will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
