Mary K. Aumick

Age 59 of Corning, NY passed away Friday, July 5, 2002 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after a brief illness.Born on April 14, 1943 in Wellsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Velma Covert Cole.She married John L. Aumick on March 9, 1972 in Corning, NY.Her husband, John; her son, Anthony C. Moore; brothers, Burdette Cole and Jack R. Cole, and her parents predeceased Mary.She was retired from Corning Inc. after 15 years of loyal service.She was a member of the Corning Moose Lodge, the Crystal City VFW Post #524, and the Corning Marconi Lodge.Mary is survived by three daughters and two step-daughters, Mrs. Dale (Tina) Brazie, Mrs. Ellsworth (Velma) Owens, Mrs. Carl (Brea) Hirschfeld, Mrs. David (Christine) Tennent, and Miss Ruth Aumick; four sisters, Mrs. John (Lois) Tostanoski, Mrs. Richard (Rita) White, Mrs. Albert (Joyce) LeBaron, and womb-mate, Mrs. Jacob (Marjorie) King.She is also survived by her brother, Duane Cole; sister-in-law, Mrs. Jack (Jean) Cole; 9 grandchildren; 3 ½ great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.Those wishing may make memorial donations in Mary?s name to the Finger Lakes Regional Burn Association, PO Box 90748, Rochester, NY 14609.Arrangements are under the direction of the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., Elmira, NY.Those wishing may leave a ?Candle of Remembrance? at www.olthof.com.
