Martha Ann Oliver Yeomans

ELMIRA - Martha Ann Oliver Yeomans, 90, died January 31, 2022 at her home in Elmira, NY. She was born February 8, 1931 the daughter of Sadie Hatherill Oliver and Rexford A. Oliver of Elmira NY. Martha attended Southside High School and worked as a telephone operator for New York Bell and in later years was a glass inspector at Anchor Glass Works. Martha was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Frank E. Yeomans of Elmira; sisters, Elizabeth M. Oliver of Elmira, Marjorie Bird of Maryland, brothers, John R. Oliver and George Oliver, both of Elmira; and her son, Rex A. Yeomans of Elmira. She is survived by her sister, Pearl Kay of Elmira; daughters, Kathryn Williams (Alan) of Georgia, Carol Hoelbrandt (Michael) of Indiana and Sandra Pereschuk (Preston) of Maryland, nephew, Scott Kay (Brenda) of Elmira; 3 grandchildren, Michael Hoelbrandt (Suzy), Mattie Celetti (Brian), Taryn Wivell (Kyle); 4 great grandchildren, Brian Celetti, Anthony Celetti, Maranda Pierce and MacKenzie Wivell; along with daughter-in-law, Kari Yeomans and family friend, Kay Beckwith. No service will be held. Interment will be in Woodland National Cemetery next to her husband.
