Marrissia C. Ruth

Marrissia ‘Marie’ C. Ruth, 57, of Pine City, NY passed away peacefullyin her sleep on Friday, April 27, 2018 at home. She was predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Frances Martin; father-in-law, Anthony F. Ruth, Sr. Marie is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Anthony F. Ruth, Jr.; children, Dale (Cheryl) Nye, Shannon (Alphonso) Greene and Ryan Ruth; grandchildren, Kira, Gianna and Emily; sisters, Cheryl Brown and Paulagina (Denny) Iezzi; mother-in-law, Norma Ruth; sisters-in-law, Barb (Tod) Martin and Chris (Mike) Wallace; numerous nieces and nephews. Marie worked at Toshiba for over 10 years after which she became a personal Care Aide. Marie loved taking photographs and her dogs, Bella and Bear. Marie enjoyed making arts and crafts with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira from 5 PM to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow in the St. Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.
