Passed away Thursday, September 27, 2001 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after and extended illness. She was born October 28, 1929 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Eugene and Leona (Rockwell) Wich. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Richard Tucker November 26, 1983; brother, Richard E. Wich in 1983 and brother-in-law, Daniel Kaufman in 1998. Her beloved children survive Marilyn: son and daughter-in-law, Gary R. and Catherine Tucker of Elmira, NY; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara T. and James R. Mosher also of Elmira, NY; grandchildren, Lynn M. (Jason C.) Hendershot, Gary R. (fiancée Nicole L. Colony) Mosher, Brian A. Mosher and Kimberly L. Mosher, Patricia M. Tucker; great granddaughter, Mackenzie; sister, Dorothy Kaufman of Ardsley, NY; sister-in-law, Shirley M. Wich of Millport, NY; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Marilyn taught piano and organ for over 30 years. She was a church organist over 40 years. For many years she played the piano for the local Lions and Kiwanis organizations. Marilyn received her greatest joy from supporting her family in all of there activities. Her family was her life. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Sunday, September 30, 2001 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held there on Monday at 11:00 AM. Her Pastor, the Reverend Nancy Parr will officiate. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
