Marie L. Mcinroy

Marie L. McInroy Age 94 was born October 16, 1922 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late William and Florence (Appleton) Taylor, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Her loving husband of 48 years, Robert W. McInroy Sr. preceded her in death on October 19, 1991. She is survived by her beloved children: daughter, Joyce A. (Ronald) Clark; son: Robert W. (Desiree Miller) McInroy Jr.; grandchildren: Suzanne (Daniel) Pavlik, Michael Johnson, Jonathon (Teresa) McInroy and Kyle Clark; great grandson: Zack (Stephanie) Pavlik; along with several nieces and nephews. Marie was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Horseheads. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Marie loved her animals, enjoyed knitting and was a diehard New York Yankee fan. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Funeral Services honoring her life will follow the visitation at 2 pm. Reverend Leann Zeck will officiate. Interment will take place at the convenience of her family in the Maple Grove Cemetery where Marie will be laid to rest with her beloved Robert.
