Marcelete A. Dryburgh Age 101, a resident of Southport, NY, passed away on, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Bethany Manor, Horseheads, NY. Marcelete was born September 19, 1919 in Wellsboro, PA, the daughter of the late Roy and Mildred (Spencer) Calhoun. She enjoyed bowling and worked at Pennsylvania Grand Canyon while she was in school, Newberrys, and supported the war effort at Eclipse. Marcelete is survived by her daughter, Linda (Reinhard) Dieg; son, Jim (Patti) Dryburgh; grandchildren, Jerry and Ron (Dawn) Dieg, Courtney Woods (Jeff Franey), Emily and Jamie Dryburgh; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Amanda, Matthew, Adam, Noah, and Delia Dieg, Christian Swingle; great-great-grandchildren, Mason and Myla; and extended family in Oklahoma; sister, Virginia Chamberlain; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Dryburgh; brother, William Calhoun; and sister, Cleo Judson. Friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Penna. Ave., Elmira on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with funeral and committal services there Saturday at 6:00 PM Interment will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
