Mabel M. Woodruff

ELMIRA - Mable Marie Woodruff age 87 passed away February 22, 2021. Mable was born August 7, 1933 to the late Manville and Luvia (Jackson) Vanderpool. Mable was predeceased by her husbands Kenneth Vanderpoel, Emery Woodruff and life long companion of 40 years Edward J. Brown, also sons, Dale Vanderpoel, Mickey Vanderpoel, Jimmy Vanderpoel, Marvin Vanderpoel, and step children Doris (Floyd) Palmeter, Walter Brown, Barbara Teal. Mable is survived by her children Roger (Brenda) Vanderpoel, Tia (Herm) Woodruff, Shawn Woodruff, Rick (Joan) Woodruff, Scott (Tammi) Brown, Ramona (Donald) Clink, Daughter in laws Sherrie Vanderpoel, Brenda Vanderpoel, Joanne Vanderpoel, Brenda Brown, and Sister in law Geraldine Derenzo. Mable had several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved a house full of children and enjoyed every moment with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her, and the sense of humor she had. Services will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Woodlawn National Cemetery. Donations in honor of her memory can be sent to a charity of your choice.
