Beard, Genevieve M. ?Jenny? Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother Age 71 Of Elmira, NY passed away Thursday evening, October 25, 2001 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH. Surviving are; Her husband of 55 years, Eugene Beard. Children; Fred (Kathleen) Beard, Barry (Diane) Beard, Virginia (William) Steele, Rickey (Cathy) Beard, David (Mindy) Beard and Linda Beard all of Elmira. 16 Grandchildren and 18 Great-grandchildren. Brothers; Archie (Ilene) Ribble of Corning, NY and Franklin Ribble of Elmira Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son Daniel and his family in 1975. Jenny was a member of the Elmira Wesleyan Church. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, Monday, October 29, 2001 from 5 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be there Tuesday at 11 AM with the Rev. Edward Crandall officiating. A service of committal will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads.
