Moats, Lloyd W.Age 70, of Elmira, NY, passed away at the Robert Packer Hospital, Tuesday, December 4, 2001.Lloyd was predeceased by his wife Retta June on January 22, 1990.He is survived by: children; Carol (Steven) Mattson of Endicott, NY, Linda S. Moats of Palisades Park, NJ, David (Ronni) Moats of Wheatridge, CO, Kathleen Moats Osier of Hickory, NC, grandchildren; Amy (David) Fetcinko, Barbara Mattson, Katie Moats, several brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews.Lloyd was a member of the North Presbyterian Church in Elmira, NY.He was also a member of the AARP.Lloyd served his country faithfully during WWII as a soldier in the Army Airforce.He had many hobbies and interests.They included: being a great fan of the Giants and of NASCAR and being a member of the Southport Coin Club. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, December 7, 2001, from 4pm until 7pm at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY 14904.Funeral and committal services will be held there on Saturday, December 8, 2001 at 11am.Interment will immediately follow in the Ashland Cemetery, Wellsburg, NY.Those wishing may make memorial donations to the North Presbyterian Church?s Rebuilding fund 921 College Ave., Elmira, NY 14901.Anyone wishing, may light a ?Candle of Remembrance? at www.olthof.com.
