Lewis W. Wheeler

Age 94 of Millerton, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021. Lewis was born on April 18, 1927 in Millerton, Pa., the son of the late Josephine (Benson) and Norman Wheeler. Lewis was a member of the Brick Layers Union Local 3 New York and a member of the West Jackson Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughters, Ellie (Chet) Knapp, Beth Wheeler; sons, Harold (Ricanne) Wheeler, Daryl Wheeler (BettyJo Koser), Boomer (Ellen) Wheeler; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly (Arland) Phillips; sister-in-law, Jane Wheeler; several nieces and nephews. Lewis was predeceased by his wife, June Wheeler; brothers, Roger and Rex Wheeler; sister-in-law, Mary Wheeler, great-grandson, Collin Wayne Benson. Friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Penna. Ave., Elmira on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with the funeral services at 2:00 PM. Pastor Harold Burrell officiating. A procession will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from the funeral home to Maple Ridge Cemetery, Millerton, PA.
