Lewis E. Hart

Age 67, of Valley Avenue Horseheads, NY passed away Sunday, March 23, 2003 at St. Joseph?s Hospital after an extended illness. He was born April 29, 1935 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Lewis E. and Rosemary (Krelie) Hart Sr. Lewis married Shirley Blakey June 4, 1955 in St. Anthony?s Church Elmira, NY. They have celebrated 47 wonderful years of life and love together. ?Louie? as he was affectionately know, is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; beloved children, son, Joseph Hart of Horseheads, NY; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Stephen Parsons of Elmira Heights, NY; Cynthia and Christopher Hughson of Pine City, NY; grandchildren, Justin and Nicholas Hart of South Carolina; Stephen Jr., Jason and Jessica Parsons of Elmira Heights, NY; Christopher and Jennifer Hughson of Pine City, NY. ?Louie? was a member of the American Legion Clarence Oliver Post # 154 in Elmira Heights, NY and retired from Emerson Power Transmission in Ithaca, NY after several years of dedicated service. At his request there will be no prior calling hours or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY.
