Lee G. Reed

Reed, Lee G., age 75, of Horseheads, NY, passed away Friday, May 4th, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Lee was born in Brooklyn, NY; the son of the late Cassius and Agnes (Gaunt) Reed. In addition to his parents, Lee is predeceased by his wife: June Moore; daughter: Teresa (Teri) Reed, Nephew: Mathew Collson. Surviving are his children: Debbie (Tommy) Norwood of Waxhaw, NC; Billy (Trina) Reed of Lexington, SC; Michael Martin of Waco, TX; Lisa (Al) Hawker of Marquette, WI; Janielle Dillon of Horseheads, NY; 14 grandchildren with 4 great grandchildren; Sister: Linda (Art) Radley of DeRuyter, NY, Kathleen Reed-Collson of Canandaigua, NY, Daniel (Betsy) Reed of Cameron, NY, along with several nieces and nephews. In service to his country, Lee served in the United States Army. He was a self-employed, over the road truck driver. He loved hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. He adored all the many dogs he loved over the years. Those wishing may gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY, Friday, May 11th, 2018 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Funeral services will follow at the conclusion of the calling hours at 1:00PM. Full military honors will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorials in Lee G.
