Lawrence P. Russell

Age 86Of Mill Street, Lawrenceville, PA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 12, 2002. Lawrence was born December 15, 1915 in Lindley, NY the son of Arthur and Sylvia Bockus Russell. He operated his own auto repair business in Lawrenceville until 1965. He worked as a custodian at Williamson High School, where he retired from in 1981. He was a member of the Lawrenceville Fire Department and a member of the Lindley Community Church. Lawrence is survived by his daughter; Shirley A. Russell, of Lawrenceville, PA and his son; Cleo (Marian) Russell of Lawrenceville, PA, three grandchildren; Terry (Brian) McCarter of Sayre, PA, Brian (Karen) Russell of Corning NY and Karin Russell of Lawrenceville PA, four great grandchildren; whom he thoroughly enjoyed, Kourtney and Kaitlynn McCarter and Gavin and Jacob Russell, nephew; Verrill Robbins of Rancho Mirage, CA. Lawrence was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie I. Russell and sister, Frances Wolcott. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Monday July 15, 2002 from 2 ? 4 and 7 ? 9 PM. There will be an additional viewing on Tuesday, July 16, at the Lindley Community Church, Lindley, NY from 1 ? 2 PM with Funeral Service there at 2:00 PM. The Rev.Timothy Hartigan will officiate. Interment will be in Lawrenceville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
