Lawrence R. Noyes

Lawrence R. Noyes Age 62, of Southport, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Elcor due to COVID-19. He was born in Hammondsport, NY on November 25, 1958 to the late Robert and Genevieve Noyes. Lawrence is survived by his wife Carol(Meisner) Noyes; son Billy Verdoorn; daughter Kymberly Noyes; granddaughter, Krystin Symonds; brothers Glen (Tuesday) and Dan (Mary) Noyes; sister, Suzie (Amy) Yencer; numerous nieces and nephews; best friend Tom Bennett. Lawrence coached Southport Recreation Baseball. He was an Underwriter for the Travelers Insurance Company for 30 years. Lawrence received his Associates Degree from Corning Community College. When Larry was at Aetna, (now Travelers Insurance), he was an advisor for Junior Achievement of Elmira, Corning. Lawrence and his dad were some of the founding membersof Common Time. He played softball for Aetna/Travelers, and he and his family delivered for the Arctic League every year. Lawrence liked his Rams, but of course he LOVED his Yankees.
