Larry E. Cady

ELMIRA – Larry E. Cady, 83, of Elmira, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. Born on November 28, 1938 in Elmira, NY, he was the son of the late Elery Williams and Madolin R. (Cady) Youngs. Larry worked for the Elmira DPW for 35 years, retiring in 1995.He was a collector of many things, was very outgoing and loved to have fun in the sun.He was a wonderful father.More than anything, he cherished the time that he shared with his children. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, Kyle Cady. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly S. Cady (Timothy Hughes) of Elmira; Larry (Bud) E. (Crissy) Cady of Elmira, Miranda Rosenbaum (Jason Sutton) of Elmira; his grandchildren, Logan Kinney, Brianna Kinney, Dominick Sutton; his first spouse, Janet Cleveland of Elmira; and his second mom, Geneva Cady.
