Kenneth L. Oliver, age 84 of Bath, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Taylor Health Center after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Kenneth was born to the late Herbert and Dorothy Oliver on February 7, 1934 in Watkins Glen, NY. In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased in death by his sisters, Marleah Butler, Elizabeth Johnson, Ella Mae Yatteau and brother, Carl Oliver. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joyce Oliver; sons, Timothy Oliver of Painted Post, NY and Scott (Amy) Burley of Portland, TN; daughters Janice (Kevin) Rodabaugh of Knoxville, TN, Glenda (Mickey) Masti of Savona, NY and Krista (David) Reyna of Gardena, CA; sister Marian Nimmo of Indianapolis, IN; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served as a Chaplain’s Assistant while stationed in Japan. He worked at Corning Glass (Big Flats Plant) for 44 years and enjoyed bowling for many years on a league. Ken will be honored with a private gathering of family and friends on Friday, April 6, 2018. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery.Pastor Bill Spencer of the Wallace Wesleyan Church will officiate.
