Kay J. Hover

Kay J. Hover Age 82 of Elmira, NY, passed awaypeacefully on Monday, June 14, 2021. Kay was born in Binghamton, NY on June 9, 1939, the daughter of Edward and Minnie (Knapp) Jones. Kay was a member of the Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church and Tanglewood Nature Center. She supported the NYS Special Olympics and the Artic League. Kay is survived by her son Ted Hover; grandchildren, Zack Hover, Tayler Hover, Alessandro Hover; brothers, Richard (Patty) Jones, Mike (Rosie) Jones, Jack (Becky) Jones; several nieces and nephews. Kay was predeceased by her husband Leslie D. Hover, Jr.; daughter Christine Ann Hover. Friends are invited attend a graveside service on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn National Cemetery, 1825 Davis St., Elmira, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church, Tanglewood Nature Center, NYS Special Olympics or the Artic League in Kay's memory.
