Kathryn M. Davis

Kathryn M. Davis, 68, of Pine City, NY passed away on Thursday, August 09, 2018. She was born March 11, 1950 in Peckville, PA. to the late Thaddeus and Kathryn (Wilk) Manchak. Kathryn married Glenn E. Davis, Jr. in 1974, and they shared 36 years together until he passed in 2010. She was also predeceased by her brother, Simon Manchak. Kathryn is survived by her loving children, Kasia (Tony) Bulkley and Jeffery (Tara) Davis; brother, Richard Manchak; and four grandchildren, Nathan, Mason, Sara and Zack. Kathryn was a second grade teacher at Diven Elementary School for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Adalberts Polish National Catholic Church. She loved volunteering at Stray Haven Humane Society. Kathryn loved all her family, and She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stray Haven Humane Society, 194 Shepard Road, Waverly, NY 14892. As per Kathryn’s wishes there will be no calling hours and a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
