Kathleen Ann Aldrich

Kathleen A. Aldrich, aka Kathy and Kitty, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility, Elmira, New York. Kathleen was born June 28, 1946, in Elmira, New York daughter of the late James G. and Theresa (Rohde) Burdick. Kathleen worked for New York State for 34 years. She worked for the Departments of Taxation & Finance, the Department of Mental Health, and the Department of Education (VESID, OVR).

Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, husband Edward L. Aldrich on November 3, 2021, and her mother and father-in-law, Elton and Blanche Aldrich.

She is survived by a son Kenneth Aldrich and her daughter Jennifer Aldrich, granddaughters, Kiyah Lewis (Austin Schuyler) Shamarianna Lewis, great granddaughter, Aliaya Ann Schuyler-Lewis, a brother and sister-in-law, James and Robin Burdick of Lakeland, Florida, two nieces and a nephew and their families. She has many longtime friends with whom she remained close to.

Family and friends are invited to call from Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania, Avenue Elmira, New York 14904. Her memorial service will be held immediately following at 4:30 PM with Mr. Christopher Cade sharing memories. Interment will be at the family's convenience in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, New York.
