Karen E. Durfee, loving daughter, mother and grandmother. Age 59 of Elmira, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 unexpectedly at home. She was born in Elmira, NY on January 4, 1962, in Elmira, NY, the daughter of Janette (Mathers) Durfee and the late Arnold F. Durfee. Karen is survived by her mother, Janette Durfee, sons, Joshua Dennison and Tabatha Bauman, Brandon and Tina Dennison; daughter, Arin Dennison and Eric Troccia; grandchildren, Aubrey, Benny, Gia, Nehemiah, Mason, Abigail, and Nolan; brother, David and Linda Durfee; sisters, Diane and David Shadduck, Kathy and Steve Koen, Barb and Larry Jenkins; brother, Dale Durfee. Karen was predeceased by her father, Arnold F. Durfee; brother Danny F. Durfee; father-in-law, Bert E. Dennison; mother-in-law, Faye M. Dennison; uncle, Butch Mathers. Friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Penna. Ave., Elmira, NY on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with funeral and committal services there at 4:00 p.m., Bambi Griffin officiating. Interment will be in Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Southport, NY at the covenience of the family.
