Age 90 of Moravia, NY, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 at home with her family. Joy was born on December 13, 1931 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Mack and Lila (Lewis) Stickler.
Joy loved crocheting, making crafts, reading, and bowling. She enjoyed playing cards with everyone and was a loving mother and grandmother.
Joy is survived by her children, Joy Allen-Griffin of Moravia, NY, Warren Allen of Pine City, NY, Robert (Susan) of Allen of Elmira, NY, Carol Cleresy (Milan) of Elberta, AL, Jean (Edward) Dunbar of Waverly, NY; sister, Esther Blew.
Besides her parents, Joy was predeceased by her sisters, Cleoral, Evangeline, Thelma, Bonnielyn; brothers, Rexford, Melvin, and Kenneth; son-in-law, Stanley Griffin; daughter-in-law, Beverly Allen.
Friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Penna. Ave., Elmira, NY on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with funeral services there Friday afternoon at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira.
