Joseph Samuel Russo A life long resident of Elmira, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the age of 67, while at his home. Joseph is survived by his mother, Elsie Russo; daughter, Christine (Russo) Page of Bonifay, FL; grandchildren, Parker, Codi, Reign, and Harley; brother, Samuel Russo; sisters, Marie (Steven) Sampson all of Elmira, Kathy (Bob) Kerr of FL., Theresa Holden of Pine City; god child, Phillip Clark of Elmira; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Joseph was predeceased by his father, Michael Russo; and best friend, Thomas Bacon. He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather, a dependable brother and son, and a good friend to all. Joseph was actively involved with Strong Kids, Safe Kids and a member of the Elks Club, the American Legion, and many other establishments. Friends are invited to attend a life celebration for Joseph on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Elmira Elks Club, 300 E. Gray St., Elmira.
