Joseph Frank Mcbride

Age 46 of Elmira, NY passed away on January 15, 2003 unexpectedly of heart failure. Joseph is survived by his parents Mary and Alan Pratt of Elmira, sister; Kim (Kevin) McBride King, Albany, NY, brother; Bill (Debbie) McBride, Ocala, FL, fiancé; Diane Winston, Elmira, nieces and nephews, Andy McBride, Amy McBride Law, Amanda McBride, Lindsay and Emilee McBride, Lauren, Robby, and Ryan King, sister-in-law; Karen Schoonmaker, friends; Miss Louise Ellis, Carmen Murphy and Yoisha. Joseph?s was predeceased by baby girl Caroline, and brothers; Bob M. McBride and John E. McBride, Jr. He was a Staff Sgt. in the United States Army with over 9 years of service. After getting out of the Army , Joe went to work at Anchor Glass Container Corp. in Elmira Heights, NY with 17 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper who truly enjoyed the outdoors. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Saturday, January 18, 2003 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there Saturday at 4:00 PM. The Rev. Howard Hunt will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
