Joseph A. Levesque

Age 65 of Elmira, NY, went to be with his Lord on Friday, February 7, 2003. He is survived by his loving wife; Joan LaVigne Levesque, who he married in August of 1977 and spent 25 wonderful years with; his step-son; Scott Pipe of Elmira, NY, step-daughter; Tammy Pipe of Elmira, NY, step-grandchildren; Felicia. Jamie, and Sarah Pipe, brother; Gilman Levesque of Greely, PA, sisters; Annette (James) Cronk of Mancelona, MI, Mona (Lemual) Cyr of Keene, NH, along with several nieces & nephews and many dear & close friends. Joseph was predeceased by his brother, Albert ?Tiny? Levesque, October of 2002. Joseph was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He retired from the Roofers Union Local #203 in Binghamton, NY after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Horseheads Moose Club #1476, the Elmira Elks Lodge BPOE #62, Elmira Eagles Club, the Mechanics Club of Montour Falls, NY, and the Horseheads American Legion Bentley Trumble Post. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc, 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira on Sunday, February 9, 2003 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with Funeral and committal service there Sunday evening at 7:00 PM. Deacon George Welch will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 7, E. Syracuse, NY 13057.
