John Thomas Weeks

Age 52 of Elmira, NY, passed away very unexpectedly September 19, 2002 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Tommy is survived by his loyal and loving wife of 22 years, Antonia (Toni) Weeks, also his sons, David J. Weeks of San Francisco, CA; Matthew Weeks of Horseheads, NY; aunt, Catherine Parsons of Elmira; sister, Carol (Doug) Moss of Watkins Glen, NY; mother-in-law, Mrs. Nadia Melnik of Elmira Heights, NY; sister-in-laws, Maria (Mike) Turic, Olga (James) Stanton, both of Elmira Heights; Luba (Peter) Brown of New Paltz, NY; several nieces and nephews; his hunting buddy, Roy Griswald; and special friend, Katie Lawson. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY, Sunday, September 22, 2002, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral and committal services will be held at 8:00 PM. Father Jason Kappanadze will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY. Tommy was a member of the National Chess Federation and the Pine City Sportsman?s Club. He was very proud of his Mohawk Indian Heritage. He loved to hunt, fish, and camp.
