Age 80, of Hammond, PA passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at the VA Medical Center Hospital in Bath, NY. Roger was born March 17, 1922 in Tioga, PA the son of the late Augustine L. and Eliza (Brown) Holleran. He was a World War II Veteran of the Army-Air Force, member of the American Legion Post # 235 and honorary member of the Tioga Firemen?s Association. Roger owned and operated the corner service station in Tioga for many years and later took great pride in caring for the Hammond Cemetery. He is survived by his loving wife, Victoria; daughter, Julie (Harold) Houston of Middlebury Center, PA; sons, John Jr. of Cartersville, GA; and Richard (Sherry) of Lebanon, PA; daughters, Rogeen Goodreau of Tioga, PA; Zilpha (James) Slaybaugh of North Umberland, PA; Karen (John) Detweiler of Mansfield, PA; brother, James (Sally) of Tioga, PA; sister, Theresa Cruz of Norwich, NY; along with 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Honoring his wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A private Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing may make memorial donations in Roger?s memory to the Tioga Fireman?s/Ambulance Association or to the Middlebury Township Fire Department.
