Joan A. (Deming) Farmer

Age 76, was born August 22, 1943 in Nichols, NY the daughter of the late John Eugene and Carolyn E. (Pack) Deming, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Her brother, Robert Deming and beloved son, Edward Farmer preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, George E. Farmer; sister-in-law, Linda Deming; beloved daughters, Wendy (Mark) McDonald and Lori Farmer;granddaughters, Jenna Farmer-Burt (Joshua) and Amy Farmer; great grandchildren, Gavyn Bennett, Jonathan Burt (JW) and Julia Burt; along with her close, lifelong friend, Ann McGonigal, her sewing group and her card playing friends. Joan co-owned and operated Farmers Garden Center andenjoyed working with her family in the business and especially having George working by her side as well.
