Jenny L. Knapp

Jenny L. Knapp, age 57, of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center on February 19th, 2018. A native of Elmira, she was born on June 19th, 1960 to Mahlon B. Baldwin. Jenny was a beloved Head Start teacher who loved kids and worked for Economic Opportunity Program for 15 years. Above all, Jenny loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her daughters and her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, Mahlon, grandmother, Genevieve Baldwin, brother, Willy. She is survived by her loving family: husband; Richard, daughter; Deb (Mike), granddaughters; Sydney and Courtney, brother; Mahlon (JoAnn), sisters; Penny (Mike), Kim (Mike), Kelly (Joe), along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no services per Jenny’s request. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
