Jeanne Root

MILAN, PA – Jeanne Root, 67, of Milan, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021.Born on December 28, 1953 in Corning, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Zdanowski) O’Dell.On May 5, 1997, she married Steve R. Root in Wellsburg, NY. In 2016, she retired from her job as Office Manager at Dimon & Bacorn in Elmira after 22 years of service. Jeanne’s life was dedicated to her horses.She would often take the horses on camping trips across the country reaching 38 states. She is survived by her husband, Steve R. Root of Milan, PA; her children, Tracy (David) Kramer of Aberdeen, MD; Travis (Heidi) Root, Constable, NY, Cori Root, San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Skyler, Freyja, Lincoln, Lily; and her brother, Robert O’Dell of Coconut Creek, FL. There will be a celebration of her life announced in the spring of 2022.
