Age 40 of Wasilla, Alaska passed away Saturday, March 22, 2003 very unexpectedly in Hector, NY. She was born January 28, 1963 in Elmira, NY the daughter of Edger and Phyllis (Rinker) Mathews. She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years Arthur J. Luecken II; son, Joshua and Lorraine Grasser (fiancé) of Wasilla, Alaska; grandson, Korbin Patrick Luecken; father, Edger of Elmira; sisters Charlene (Lynn) Montgomery of Elmira, Karen (Skip) Reynolds of Tigard, Oregon; brothers, Ed (Christine) Mathewsof North Chemung, Benjamin Mathews of Elmira; father-in-law, Arthur J. Leucken I; mother-in-law, Donna DePrimo of Elmira; brothers-in-law, Sabato DePrimo (Kimberly) of Elmira, Christopher DePrimo of Oregon, William Leucken of Elmira, and many loving friends, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.She is predeceased by her son, Arthur J. Luecken III; brother, Stanley Mathews; mother, Phyllis Rinker Mathews. JanEllen was an outgoing, avid outdoors person who loved animals and owned her own grooming business in Wasilla, Alaska.She attended Edison High School and then went on to UAA College in Wasilla, Alaska.She was a very strong and spirited person who could do anything, anywhere.She loved to sail and dive and could never get enough of the outdoors.She was always willing to go somewhere and everywhere to be in the outdoors.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 from 1-3pm and 6-8pm.Funeral Services will follow calling hours (8 PM), where Rev.
