Jane P. Jack

ELMIRA – Jane P. Jack, 62 of Elmira, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.Born on April 17, 1959 in Elmira, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lee R. and Sophie K. (Korlinchak) Peters.Jane graduated Southside High School in 1977 and went on to attend Eastman Dental School in Rochester, graduating in 1978. On December 8, 1979, she married the love of her life, Jeffrey Jack and they would share 42 wonderful years together. Jane worked as a dental assistant for many years.She later went on to work for the Maine Endwell School District for more than 10 years.In 2001, came back to Elmira and purchased Vasco Brands, Inc. and has owned and operated it ever since. Jane enjoyed fishing, swimming, campfires and going for long walks.More than anything, she cherished the time that she shared with her husband and children. She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Jack of Elmira; her children, Amanda Jack of Elmira, Jeffery Jack (Cassie Hurst) of Elmira; her siblings, Ronald (Vivian) Peters of Big Flats, Sharon (Jim) Emmick of Big Flats, Michael (Stephanie) Peters of Florida, and Janet (Rana) Naqash of Pine City. Friends may call from 10-12 pm on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., in Elmira with a service to follow at the funeral home.Burial will take place at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery in Elmira.
