Age 70, of Columbia Crossroads, PA, passed away very unexpectedly on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY. Jim was born January 6, 1935 in Elmira, NY, the son of the late Albert and Marion (Strader) Ingram. His brother, Marston Ingram, also predeceased him. James married Audrey Brown on November 7, 1959 in the Riverside United Methodist Church. The late Reverend Comstock officiated their wedding. They have celebrated 46 wonderful years of life and love together. In addition to his wife, Audrey, he is also survived by his beloved sons, Gary and Stephen Ingram, both of Columbia Crossroads, PA; sister-in-law, Nelda (Lester) Miller of Elmira, NY; aunt, Miriam Strader of Elmira, NY; along with his ?special friend? and canine companion, ?Sabrina?. Jim worked for the Marine Midland Bank for many dedicated years and later retired from the Elmira Savings Bank as Vice President after several years of faithful service.He greatly enjoyed camping and traveling with his family. Jim was a renowned musician in this area for numerous years. He began playing the steel guitar at the age of 12 and wound up playing for various local bands. Most recently, he played with T and the Good Timers. James was a wonderful husband and father and will be deeply missed.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral Services honoring Jim?s life will be held there on Wednesday at 1:00 PM. The Reverend Donald Hoff will celebrate his service. Interment will follow in the Fitzsimmons Cemetery in Southport, NY.A ?Candle of Remembrance? may be left for his family in obituaries at www.olthof.com .
