Age 82, of Millerton, PA, April 15, 2002 at St. Joseph?s Hospital, Elmira, NY. James was predeceased by his wife, Genevieve Andrews in 1988; his sisters, Neva Adams, Ellene Bement, and Dora-Marie Adams; and his brother, Gary Andrews. He is survived by his son, James T. (Anna Cleveland) Andrews of Millerton; his daughter, Sharon (Rocky) Wibirt of Pine City; his grandchildren, Shelly Emerson, Pamela Brown, Brian (Nicole) Wibirt, David Wibirt, Ronald (Krista) Andrews, Duane (Ellen) Andrews, Renee (Jeremy) VanDergrift; his great-grandchildren, Jessica Brown, Cody Wibirt, Brady, Treven, and Jayden Andrews; brother, Mert (Muriel) Andrews of Millerton; sisters, Jeanne (Doug) Kingsley of Endicott, Meredith Andrews, Joan Andrews of Elmira, and several nieces and nephews. James was a member of the Clarence Oliver American Legion Post #154, Elmira Heights, a former Elmira Moose member, and a current member of the Horseheads Moose.A well-known baseball player and fan, he was also a long-time member of the Penn York Ball League.He was a US Army veteran of World War II and an avid hunter. James worked for Remington Rand for over 31 years, was a former employee of Bendix/Purolator Corp, and an employee of PENN DOT on the road maintenance crew. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Thursday, April 18, 2002 from 6 to 8 PM and on Friday, April 19, 2002 from 11 AM to 12 PM.Funeral services will follow immediately after calling hours at 12 PM, with Rev.
