Wherever she went, Jackie spread happiness and joy. Some of her greatest treasures were her kitties, flowers, music, anything purple, word search puzzles and watching sports. Jackie especially enjoyed working in her flower beds at home in the summer months, camping at Sunflower Acres, and watching her children and grandchildren play sports throughout her life. She also loved organizing and getting together with her class of 58 girlfriends each month while she was able. Additionally, Jackie was an active member of the Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church, where she worshipped, taught, and sang in and occasionally directed the church choir. She truly loved people and making them smile. Jackie talked with and sang to everyone, especially at Woodbrook assisted living where she spent the last six years befriending everyone she met. Her last few weeks were spent at Arnot hospital where she sang to and won the hearts of the numerous amazing nurses who quickly grew to love her dearly as well. Jackie was very special to those who knew her best and will be tremendously missed.
