Jacquelin Ann "Jackie" Morse Age 82, of Elmira, NY, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Elcor Health Services in Horseheads, NY. Jackie, as she was known by all her friends, was born July 1, 1936 in Johnson City, NY, the daughter of the late James and Doris (Stevens) Huff of CA. She was predeceased by her husband, Morlan (Butch) R. Morse of ID; her grandson Samuel Coffman of PA; and her brothers James Huff, Jr. of PA; Steven Huff of UT. She is survived by her daughter Wendy Ann (Morse) Conklin of Newton, TX; 2 sisters: Marcia (Huff) Gass of NY; Linda (Huff) Sutton of CA; 4 granddaughters: Deborah Coffman of Elizabethtown, PA; Tiffany Conklin of Elmira, NY; Rebekah (Conklin) Gublo of Elmira, NY; Kassondra Conklin of TX; also 2 great granddaughters: Angela Coffman of PA; Abigail Storms of NY; 2 great grandsons: Shawn Grube of PA; Austin Coffman of PA. Jackie was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She was not afraid nor ashamed to share the gospel of Christ to anyone, as she had plenty of opportunity. Jackie was the janitor for the former Pentecostal Tabernacle and current Elmira Christian Center and the former Elmira Christian Academy for 42 years. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Elmira Christian Center since the age of 18, where she came and accepted Jesus in her life. She taught Bible at Elmira Christian Academy and was a Sunday School teacher for many years at the church. She touched many lives through stories and songs. Her smile alone graced the hearts of many. She will be laid to rest in Fitzsimmons Cemetery on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held and announced at a later date and time at Elmira Christian Center.
