Howard Dean Kipferl

Age 68 of Lawrenceville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at St. Joseph?s Hospital in Elmira, NY. He is survived by wife of 43 years Ella Kipferl, Children; Jeff (Rebecca) Kipferl, Gayle (Joel) Costello, and Doug (Lisa) Kipferl. Grandchildren, Kristen, Jamie, Zachary, Gunter and Brigitte. Sisters, Barbara June Smith, and Joyce Kipferl. Brothers, Laverne Kipferl, Michael Kipferl and Uncle Richard Kipferl. Brother in-law, and Sister in-law, Harry ?Butch? (Elma) Hornbrook. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Howard was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a true people-person who enjoyed humor and was known to play a few jokes on the unsuspecting. Howard was also a Veteran of the United States Army. Family and friends are invited to call Sunday June 2, 2002 at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM with Funeral Service held there Monday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Douglas Hodge officiating. Interment Woodlawn National Cemetery with full military honors accorded at the grave.
