ORBANAC,Helen Edna BauerAge 92Died peacefully on May 17, 2001 , at the Chemung County Nursing Facility in Elmira, NY. She was born in Ewing, Nebraska, on September 14, 1908. Helen was predeceased by her husband Joseph Orbanac and her brothers and sisters-Joseph, Mary, Minnie, Rudolph, Adolph, Arthur, Carl and Frank. She is survived by 5 children: Nancy Brimmer of Elmira, NY; Dolores Kauffman (Edward) of Pine City, NY; JoEllen Miller (Richard) of Novato, CA; Susan Forand (Leonard) of Mesa, AZ; Anthony Orbanac (Linda) of College Park, MD; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Helen was witty and creative. She was a member of Home Bureau and the Riverside United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and crafts. She worked at the Mark Twain Hotel and Riverside Elementary School.Family and Friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Saturday May 19, 2001 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there at 4:00 PM. The Reverend Donald Hoff will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Donations may be made in Helen?s memory to Riverside United Methodist Church, 559 Spaulding St. Elmira, NY 14904. A candle of remembrance may be left at www.olthof.com
