Swanson, Hazel Irene (Lyman) Formerly a 50-year resident of Golden Glow Age 90, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at the Skilled Nursing Unit of St. Joseph?s Hospital in Elmira. Surviving are; Daughters, Elsie Marcia (Ivor) Thomas of Elmira, NY Joyce Lynn Perez of FL. 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great-grandchildren Sisters, Lena Davis of Elmira, NY Avis (Elwyn) Shetler of Hamburg, NY Brothers, Francis (Barbara) Lyman of Pine City, NY Ralph (Gloria) Lyman of Liverpool, NY Burt (Nancy) Lyman of Vestal, NY Numerous Nieces and Nephews She was predeceased by; Her husband, Claude Swanson on March 5, 1996 Sister, Elsie Edsall and Brother, Lewis Lyman Hazel was a member of the Westside United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Golden Glow Fire Department Auxiliary. It was Hazel?s request that there be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, August 4, 2001 at 1PM at the Westside United Methodist Church, 744 W. First Street, Elmira. The Rev. Nancy Parr will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be directed to: Westside United Methodist Church, 744 W. First Street, Elmira, NY 14905 or to: St. Joseph?s Hospital, 5th Floor Activities Fund, 555 E.
