Grace Hewitt Balmer

PINE CITY – Grace (Hewitt) Balmer, 96, of Pine City, 12-10-1924 – 4-26-2021. Such a special one, raised on Judson Hill near Mosherville, PA.She married the love of her life, Wallace “Pete” Balmer and they shared 60 wonderful years together raising their family. In 2003, Grace lost her beloved husband, Pete.She was also predeceased by her son, Gary in 1957. Grace is survived by her sons, Ronald, Edward (Janet), Dennis (Teresa), and Duane Balmer; her daughter, Linda (Billy) Hurd; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson. She enjoyed making quilts, playing cards and cooking.She loved sharing her cookies and quilts with many.Grace was all about family and friends.She was kind and thoughtful to all.
