Glen was born the son of the late Edward M. and Addie Potter Waight, May 20th, 1919 in Jasper, NY. His loving wife who he cherished for 57 years, Daisy Page Waight of Pine City, survives him. Step Son James Page of Pine City; Step grandchildren James Page Jr. ; Penny and Teena Page of Pine City; Spring Page of Daltona, Fl ; Great grandsonDouglas Page of Pine City; Brothers-in-law Kenneth (Carolyn) Page of Endwell, NY John (Thelma) Page of Montour Falls, NY; Sisters-in-law Lillian (Harold) Sechrest of Pine City; Ruth Ripley of Elmira; Katherine Perkowski of Elmira and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Glen was predeceased by his loving parents Edward and Addie, Sister Eva VanSkiver; brothers-in-law Raymond Page; Russell Page; John Riley; and Stanley Perkowski. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Friday, January 25th, 2002 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 26th, 2002 at the Pennsylvania United Methodist Church, 1238 Pennsylvania Avenue, Pine City, NY. Graveside committal prayers will be shared following the funeral services at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira, NY.The Reverend William Vallet will officiate. Glen was a graduate of the Elmira Business Institute and proud Navy veteran of World War II. After the war Glen was employed as an accountant for the Coca Cola Plant before going to work for Hubbs and Howe Paper Co. in the field of sales. In 1952, with the loving support of his wife Daisy, they founded Waights Supply Co. and the Southern Tier Converting Co. both of Elmira for 20 years; before they were sold to the Mead Corp. Glen was an avid golfer and bowler. He and wife Daisy loved the many years of camping and fellowship with the members in the Southern Tier Wheelers #108. Glen will be missed by many.
